I am a Clinical Psychologist working primarily with adults and older adolescents, offering a calm, respectful, and non-judgemental space supporting clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. Feeling understood and accepted is a vital part of the therapeutic process. I strive to create an environment in which clients feel safe, heard, and supported.

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”

Carl Rogers

Therapeutic approach

I provide individual therapy for clients facing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, emotional difficulties, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My approach is grounded in empathy and collaboration, recognising that each person’s experiences and needs are unique. I am a neurodivergent and gender affirming clinician experienced in working with both neurodiverse and LGBTIQ+ communities.

My therapeutic style is integrative and evidence-based, drawing from training in a range of therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-informed practices, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Schema Therapy approaches. Sessions allow space for reflection, emotional processing, and gradual change.

My aim is to support clients in developing greater self-awareness, emotional balance, and resilience, while empowering them to move toward a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

Accessing Therapy

To get started in therapy you don’t need to have a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) therapy sessions can be booked as private appointments if you prefer. However, to access Medicare rebates you will need to see your General Practitioner (book a long appointment) to obtain an MHTP and a referral letter. Up to 10 appointments per calendar year can be rebated for a portion of the session fee. This also means that I will communicate with your GP about your treatment at various intervals. Usually, the initial referral is for up to 6 appointments, after which you need to attend the GP for a review of your treatment needs.

I also see clients under the self-managed component of their NDIS plan. Please note that I am not a registered NDIS provider but am able to provide reports on treatment provided as needed.
